Peep with pleasure at a punderful winner!

Not long before April Fools Day (and yes, the timing was intentional), creative culinary bibliophiles participated in the first north end Edible Book Festival.  Sponsored by the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council, and hosted by Third Place Commons, the event was a delectable success.  It all went so well that we’re planning a second festival.  Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 29th, and watch for details in early 2014.

But, it is never too early to plan ahead, especially in the world of books and food.  For your inspiration, we offer some of the inspired entries of 2013.  Puns took the cake, most often literally, but there were many savory entries as well.  So, next time you think, “I could really have some fun with this book title,” don’t lose the moment.  Make some notes, and join the fun next year.
