Building Climate Resiliency: A Community Town Hall on 4/24

Celebrate Earth Day with us by joining us on Saturday, April 24th from 10 AM to 2 PM for a Lake Forest Park Community Town Hall on Building Climate Resiliency. Listen, ask, and learn about climate change and the challenges and actions that each and every one of us – including our youngest community members – can take to make a difference. Register Here.

According to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Secretary General Patricia Espinosa, “Young people want to be involved in the process, and we value that interest. It is central to all the questions we are addressing here. I also want to encourage you to get involved in your communities and at the national level.”

Want to know what young people are thinking about climate change? Join the conversation with a panel of Wise Climate Voices: The Next Generation. Just one session in a robust line-up of vital environmental discussions.

Listen to what the next generation is thinking and doing to have an impact on our city, county and state.  This is a chance to hear from young activists.  What is happening with the Sunrise Movement at Shorecrest?  What sort of research is being done by students at UW Bothell on our streams?  What are the Friday strikes all about?

Read more about the full program as well as our speakers for this and all of our sessions at ThirdPlaceCommons.org/ClimateTownHall
