Do you know what we love most about Third Place Commons? We love saying “Yes!” A few weeks ago, we got a request to schedule stage time for a young musician. At 6 years old and in 1st grade, Peleg Zahavy-Mittelman is already a violin virtuoso, and he is probably the youngest to play a solo recital on the Third Place Commons stage.
Peleg has been studying and playing with his teacher, Mr. Geoff Johnson, for the last three years. At the beginning of the school year Peleg joined the 5th and 6th grade school orchestra. He loves to perform, and as you can see from his picture, he is happy to play under the Space Needle for his fans at the Seattle Center. You can find a few videos of Peleg playing on his website: coolviolin.com
Please join us this coming Sunday, March 3, to welcome Peleg. Sometime in the future, you’ll say, “I heard that famous musician at Third Place when he was just 6 years old!”
